Michael graduated from Humboldt State University with a BS degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. He worked in Lake Tahoe, Nevada as a marketing intern with Harrah’s Corporation for one year before relocating to Durango in 1994.
Michael worked various jobs including working for the City of Durango, general manager at Mild to Wild Rafting, and at Durango Mountain Resort as a snowmaker and Ski Patroller. Michael still works part time at DMR as a pro ski patroller in the winter.
Michael began working at Coldwell Banker as a personal assistant in September of 1998, was licensed in 1999 and became a full time Broker Associate in January of 2000. Michael builds lasting relationships with his customers and clients, which is testament to his large referral base that makes his business flourish. Michael has been awarded the Silver, Diamond Society, and President’s Circle awards from Coldwell Banker nationwide. He is also a Previews Luxury Property certified broker, and a top producer at Coldwell Banker Heritage House Realtors.
In addition to working full time as a real estate broker, Michael is a member of the DMT, a local running club. He competes in mountain runs, marathons, (including Boston), and enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
